Our True Music journey with Seth Troxler & Ballantine's comes to a close in Warsaw — a momentous swan-song to cap off a trip that's touched three continents & spotlit 15+ artists, both emerging & established.

The line-up of our final blow-out has been hand-picked by Seth & features fabric's trusted gentleman Craig Richards, Poland's powerful songstress Brodka, as well as the country's iconic house duo Catz N Dogz, whom Seth has collaborated with for the final track on his True Music EP — to be released in the coming months.

At Home With Brodka

Brodka is a Polish national treasure. Before she brings her 12-piece ensemble to True Music Poland with Ballantine's, we caught up with her at home.

Seth

Seth Troxler

Seth is obviously one of dance music's party powerhouses but he's no mere hedonist. Ever since he established himself in the late 00s through a run of oddball house records, he's become known as a man who absorbs a wonderfully deep well of influence, thoughtfully & deliberately. From Latin soul to deep rhythmic body music, his musical choices take influence from the whole breadth of the globe. His last set in Poland is set to be a masterclass — set your iCals.

Catz 'N Dogz

Any history of Polish electronic music history would be spineless without close reference to Wojciech Tarańczuk & Grzegorz Demiańczuk — the Pets Recordings' label founders & the two men behind Catz 'N Dogz. Born under the Communist rule in the Polish city of Szczecin, the pair started throwing parties in the late 90s when the techno boom spread east from Berlin. After releases on a few small German labels, their meteoric rise followed after collaborations with Claude VonStroke in 2006. In the decade since, they've garnered enormous global support while consistently shining light on up-&-coming Polish producers via their own label. We're most glad to have them back on BR.

Craig Richards

It's difficult to understate the effect that a man like Craig Richards has had on the unfolding story of UK club culture. As resident DJ & musical director of fabric since its opening in 1999, Craig's aesthetic voice carved out a new identity for London. His curated Saturday nights became a Mecca ground for deeply refined underground house & techno from around the world. Others were doing what Richards and fabric were, but on nowhere near the same scale and with such incredible consistency. Gladly for us all, Craig's strident taste hasn't tired a day since. We're over the moon to have him back on our screens.

Brodka

Make no bones, Monika Brodka is one of Poland's biggest & most beloved artists. A wonderfully anomalous product of the Pop Idol scheme, she's gone onto prove she's one of the most innovative & unique talents in Eastern Europe. Sitting stylistically between Björk & PJ Harvey, her music trips through high octane orchestral pop, primal folk & experimental electronics. For her debut on Boiler Room, we're pleased to broadcast her full 12-piece live ensemble. Await something special.

B. Traits

B. Traits is a long-standing friend to Seth. Since relocating from Canada to the UK, she's accomplished a hefty stack: breaking into the UK singles chart; becoming one of the BBC's most established voices in electronic music — & all while managing a furiously busy global club schedule. We’re delighted to add her name to the list of Boiler Room alumni with a debut set at True Music Poland.

Bartosz Kruczyński 01

Bartosz Kruczyński

Bartosz Kruczyński has quietly been responsible for some of the most enlivening music to come out of Poland in the last few years. He's also a prolific man of many masks: one half of duo Ptaki; the Rhythm Section debutante Earth Trax; & also the dude behind The Phantom. To make his singular debut on Boiler Room, Bartosz brings his wonderfully deep ambient live set — the perfect opener to our True Music closing party in Warsaw.
