Maya is set to close out her True Music tour in Madrid with one of the biggest line-ups of our calendar year: a dream team of international friends, alongside some of Spain’s most vital performing artists.

Across six hours, it's a mammoth back-to-back relay of club royalty: Cassy with Anja Schneider; Monika Kruse and Andrea Oliva; UK stalwart Boddika with Shlomi Aber; Spaniard double-teams in Piñol & De La Calle / Uroz & Sano; and all headlined with Maya playing alongside long-time friend & NYC force Kim Ann Foxman.

Not only a world fair of some of the best selectors in Maya's universe, it's a show that celebrates the release of her True Music EP with the record's final collaborator, Shlomi Aber.

Maya Jane Coles "Round In Circles (Shlomi Aber Remix)"

The third and final remixer to complete Maya's True Music EP is Barcelona's Shlomi Aber, the Spanish powerhouse behind the Be As One imprint. Operative since the early 1990s, Shlomi reflects the history of Spanish rave & is one of the key figureheads to faithfully carry its torch today. His reboot of Maya's "Round in Circles" beefs it up to big room status: hoofing kicks, volleys of rave breaks & dark bending acid lines.

Anja Schneider is a creative institution. Before her set at True Music Spain with Ballantine’s, the Berlin innovator opens up.

The last & final arm of Maya’s journey closes out in Madrid for the biggest blow-out of the tour: a ten-ton assembly of some of her closest allies & long-time favourites, all playing back-to-back.

In a billboard showcase of heavyweight back-to-backs, Maya will close out our final show with long-serving collaborator & friend Kim Ann Foxman. Former vocalist of nu-disco troupe Hercules and Love Affair & now one of NYC's brightest selectors, there are few others who can step so effortlessly into the groove of Maya's deep & lithe brand of house music. When two selectors can slip & slide between one another's tracks like these pair can, it's a true joy to behold — get ready for something special.

Anja Schneider B2B Cassy

Cassy b2b Anja Schneider

Resident of Panorama Bar, Cocoon, Rex Club & Trouw, Cassy needs little introduction. She's only graced our screens once (over three years ago) but remains one of a pantheon of the most influential women in electronic music. We're pairing her up with Anja Schneider, the indelible force behind some of the most influential electronic music shows on German radio. Together they've dedicated decades consolidating their craft & building the culture — prepare for a masterclass.

Monika Kruse B2B Andrea

Monika Kruse b2b Andrea Oliva

For many, Monika Kruse is the Grand Dame of Techno. When she starting playing illegal squats & post-war bunkers in Germany, dance music was still in its infancy. Since then, she's steadily carved her permanent position in techno's international hall of fame. For our showcase in Madrid, the Terminal M boss is joined by Swiss selector Andrea Oliva, the energy at the centre of Ibiza's ANTS parties and Cadenza affiliate. Between them, they bring nearly a half-century of experience to the turntables. Prepare for a masterclass.

Shlomi Aber B2B Boddika

Shlomi Aber b2b Boddika

The third and final remixer to complete Maya's True Music EP is Barcelona's Shlomi Aber, the Spanish powerhouse behind the Be As One imprint. A veteran since the early 1990s, Shlomi reflects the history of Spanish rave – an agile selector who courses seamlessly between minimal, acid & deep Detroit techno. For our show, he's invited label-mate & UK bastion Boddika to go tag-team. As one half of Instra:mental, one third of Autonomic and solo as Boddika, the past few years have marked Al Green out as UK club music's most restless innovator. As a pair, they have the pedigree to do serious damage. Hold onto your hats.

Marc Pinol B2B Eduardo De La Calle

Marc Piñol b2b Eduardo de la Calle

Pairing Eduardo de Calle & Marc Piñol is a true toast to Spanish electronic music culture. Between them, they've spent years nurturing their native scene. Piñol was a long-serving resident of one of Spain's most prestigious underground parties: Barcelona's Nitsa. Alongside DJ Fra – now the programmer for Spain's deeply respected Primavera Sound festival – he helmed one of the most important slots in Spain for over a decade. He now sits firmly in the crew formed around John Talabot's Hivern Discs. Eduardo's record history reads like a roll of honour of the world's most respected electronic music labels: Mule Musiq; Semantica; his own Analog Solutions; not to mention Talabot's Hivern Discs too. Their set on homesoil is one we're most looking forward to.

Sano B2B Uroz

Sano b2b Uroz

Columbian-born, Spanish-residing Sano is one of the country's most exciting new recruits. An inventive arm of the international Cómeme crew with releases too on Public Possession, he's developed a sound that he's dubbed as "latino body music": sultry pitched-down acid with an elegant jacking rhythm & a deep connection to Spain & his Columbian roots. Sano's paired up with Uroz, a long-standing backbone of Barcelona's club underground. A resident DJ at the city's cherished Moog Club, he's been responsible for keeping alight a constant source of inspiration for emerging Spanish producers for over a decade. Together, they're the perfect unit to open our show in Madrid.
